The mission at Deuel Vocational Institution (DVI) is two-fold: DVI’s primary mission is as a reception center that receives inmates from 29 Northern California counties. DVI’s secondary mission is to provide housing for general population, level I and II inmates who are serving their term of incarceration at DVI.
