Rock Mountain Detention Facility (RMDF) is a San Diego County Sheriff’s maximum-security detention facility at 446 Alta Road, Ste. 5400, San Diego, CA 92158. The centralized public inquiries line is (619) 409-5000.
The facility was previously leased to the federal government and returned to Sheriff’s Office operations in 2016. House 1 reopened in July 2023 after modernization work.
